About

DeerProcessors.com helps hunters find a local processor after a deer is tagged. Call ahead to check availability.

Where listings come from

Most states publish a list of processors, usually as a PDF or spreadsheet from the wildlife agency or a venison donation program. We bring those lists in, show the source on every listing, and let shop owners and hunters keep them current.

Where we are today

Right now we have 3091 listings in 48 states. We're adding state lists one at a time, so some states are still empty. We'd rather show you nothing than a shop that might not exist.

How 'taking deer' works

Only the shop owner can set a status, and we show the date they set it. If they haven't, the listing says No status yet. Hunters can report what they saw. If two or more hunters recently say a shop is full, we show a warning until the owner updates it.

Know a shop we're missing? Add it here. Something wrong? Get in touch.
